Elizabeth,
Loved the chairs! Especially the one in the bathroom. Who said monograms were not in vogue? Your home is beautiful by the way-enjoyed the tour:)

I love the chair article. I happen to have a pair of wonderful chairs that I have stripped, painted, and lacquered. It's nice to have a project. For the upholstering I found 'hospital grade' faux leather....looks and feels great for $30 a yard versus I don't want to even know for the real stuff. Ace Hardware on 21st and Blair was extremely helpful to me as this was one of my first paint projects. I'm working on upholstery quotes now! Thanks for the great article for those of us who love chairs and 'do it herself' projects!

I love nothing more than a good Flea Market find turned great with some paint/stain and fabulous fabric. Awesome post. Been reading your blog daily for several months now - I'm a fellow Whitland neighbor (Rolland Road) so look forward to seeing these finds in person on the tour! Keep up the good work!

PS - Your Stein Mart article was spot on too. My mother is an avid Stein Mart fan and I shared your post with her, too. I bet that kind of activity is what drove you to 500+. There are lots of underground Stein Mart lovers out there. :)
