I absolutely love Keratin, I used it about four months ago and my hair is still looking fabulous! Unfortunately I am an expert in relaxers as I have been doing them for over 12 years (discovering them at age 25 was a dream come true – fighting Eastern European frizzy curly triangle hair growing up was not easy!). I used to do them in the northeast (where everyone has hair like me!) and had a very hard time finding someone in Nashville to do a comparable job. Right now the one I am doing is a 2 step Davines product. I tried the Chi as well but was not thrilled with the time (5 hours!), cost and results. The one I do now takes 2.5 hours and I can push it to last 6 months. The Keratin might work well for some but it made my hair very frizzy for some reason and I went back to 2 step relaxer. (I would highly recommend going for a consult before trying any of these!) Good luck to your readers!

I just had this done for the second time by Heather G at Fruition. I have loved it. One tip for the awful 72 hours—you can use dry shampoo—that's the only way I made it through!

I tried this and was not as impressed as other relaxers out there. Kelly at Green Pea is THE BEST!!
