We all have those things we look forward to with anticipation. One of mine is this trunk show. I just LOVE it. It’s a collaborative effort with a handful of artisans: Rowanne Designs, by hand by hannah, Three Shirts, Wiff Harmer photography, Lauren Ossolinski paintings in oil, and Marguerite Orndorff’s new hair accessory line: pêche. If you live out of town, some of these people do travel. Send me your requests and I’ll pass them along! The show is December 2nd and December 3rd. See times and location at the bottom of the post. The price range is huge and I always find something that becomes a mainstay item. Let me talk you through each artisan for what to expect:
Rowanne Designs
Rowanne McKnight is known throughout Nashville as a great Mom, friend and soccer coach….but also for her jewelry. She keeps evolving and her prices are great. Starting at $13 with most pieces under $100, her jewelry is just as great with jeans as your Sunday finest. Ask around and you will find that she is a Nashville treasure who many depend on for their jewelry needs.
by hand by hannah
Adorable and custom. That pretty much sums up what I love about Hannah Lavey’s stationery. If you want a pad with your family on it, she’ll draw you guys in a style specific to Hannah and which is undoubtedly custom to all who lay eyes upon it. For me she has made gifts tags, writing pads, to do lists, and teacher pads. She makes place mats, Christmas cards and invitations as well. When you want someone to draw something whimsical and meaningful for your stationery, Hannah is your go-to gal.
Three Shirts
Undoubtedly you have seen some little kids and grown women alike wearing these tees around town and wondered where they got them. No store in town carries this line; they are only available at this show. For about $30 you will get a super soft medium weight tee with a felt applique, of you choosing, hand stitched in a thread color, also of your choosing. It may sound a bit juvenile in the written word, but they are darn cute and I can’t wait to get myself another one. These tees are not just for preschool and grown women. I’ve seen 12 year olds and college girls in them. I think they just appeal to all of us with a y chromosome no matter what age we are.

Wiff Harmer Photography
I had the pleasure of Wiff taking some family pictures this Fall. When my husband saw the pictures he simply said, “Those are amazing. Order whatever you want. She almost made me tear up.” Strong words as
1) He is never super impressed unless the photography is GREAT
2)Because of our “almost-move” this past year, much money was spent and we are on a tighter budget than we are used to and
3) He only tears up only when Vanderbilt wins a football game….or possibly a basketball game against Kentucky. Check out her website for details: www.wiffharmer.com

Lauren Ossolinski
This is Lauren’s second year at this trunk show and last year she sold a lot of paintings! She just has that style that is comfortable and alluring. With prices ranging from $250 – $2,000, your art budget won’t be broken. She’s one to watch in the art world. www.laurenossolinski.com

pêche
Named after the French word for peach, this new hair accessory line for girls is perfect for those girls who are too old for a bow, but want something other than just a wrapped hairband. My two girls and my nieces are all receiving these for Christmas as I will be making a b-line to Marguerite on Wednesday. Hair bands are just $12 (perfect b-day party gift) and covered buttons are 3 for $$10, 4 for $12.
This trunk show, one of my favorites each year, is THIS week on December 2nd and December 3rd from 9:30AM-2:30PM each day and on the evening of the 2nd from 5:30-8:30PM. Go and have fun. You might see me there. It’s at Rowanne’s house at 99 Westover, Nashville, 37205. Tell them all you read about it here at StyleBlueprint!!

I want to go!! Sounds amazing. And that picture of your kids almost makes ME want to cry. I see where Jay is coming from… although I'm pretty dry eyed when watching football. :)
