The turquoise Valentino is a standout. If everyone is wearing long it's time to change to short. Long sparkling chandelier earrings would add the perfect touch and of course a pair of fantastic shoes. My mother was a designer and she always said, " When everyone starts wearing something that's the time for you to stop." As Iris Apfel said in her lecture at the peabody Essex museum. " Fashion should be fun." Look up Iris Apfel exhibit and you'll be tickled by her sense of style.

I've gotten LOTS of emails. I will not wear the long black skirt with THAT top! But, I will say that is does look FAR BETTER in person. But, I've been shamed:-) In a good way. I have a dressy wrap white top that I may pair with the skirt, and I also need to try that 3rd dress down. Elizabeth has dibbs on the first two. OK- off to get a pedicure- my first in MONTHS!

You should go for the gray with tulle – its the most unique and the perfect look for the Ballet Ball!

I ADORE the grey dress with the tulle!!! (E — I agree with Sarah — that would look good on you). I only wish I could FIT into something that gorgeous! Liza — I think the way you are standing in the photo may make you look a little B.I.G — because you definitely are NOT! I love that top — don't you think it would also look fab on you with a great pair of jeans? Being tall and slim, I think you would look perfectly lovely and dazzling in the third dress! Have fun at the Ball — let me know what you decide to wear. I'll be at the Realtor Prom at the downtown Hilton (hee, hee — the Awards of Excellence banquet — the committee for which I agreed to chair in a weak moment!!). YIKES — that is TOMORROW — can you come help me find figure out what to wear? :)))
