I love Pine Cone Hill, not just the bedding, but the whole company’s offerings: pillows, pj’s, bags and rugs as well as the bedding. Did you know that those awesome Dash & Albert rugs fall under the same parent company? Well, the only store in all of Nashville to sell Pine Cone Hill and Dash & Albert is Pembroke Antiques; they currently have all these products at 20% off – until Sept 1st – and you don’t want to miss it!
All of my kids have Pine Cone Hill bedding sets. I got tired of some of the cheaper brands falling apart so when I started back to work 3 years ago, my first goal was to buy new bedding for kids with the new cash flow. I can honestly say that when my kids beds are made, I still get a thrill over just how polished and cute their rooms are. The bedding is the highlight and I do little else to decorate. The bedding has held up better than well and they love the way it feels, which is important to a kid. The weight of the comforters is perfect for kids and adults alike.

My girls share a room and they each have the same bedding: a combination of two Pine Cone Hill styles. The monogrammed pillow is from Hable Construction, with I had embroidered here in Nashville.
Not only does Pembroke have Pine Cone Hill and Dash & Albert on sale for in-store items, but for all special orders as well. And yes, they do ship for all of our readers from other areas. Call the store at (615) 353-0889.
Pembroke is the ultimate find of a store: welcoming and friendly with great pillows, antique furniture, pottery, great wedding gifts, art all by local artists (including paintings by Lauren Ossolinski who is pictured with her mom in the opening picture to this post), lamps and all around great things for your shelves – all at a variety of price points. They will happily tell you “Oh, this rug is a deal. It’s 2×3 and perfect for in front of your sink and only $38!” Or- “Look at this. Isn’t this the most interesting? It’s from South America and dries to look like this and it’s only $36. Get a few of these on a shelf to add a natural element to your room.”
I found a shelf there about 4 years ago that is over 150 years old and was absolutely perfect. It now hangs in my bathroom. Their great finds come from yearly trips overseas to scour the European Antique scene. But, I guess what I love best is that Laura Doolittle, owner of Pembroke, loves to buy the same types of things I love to fill my house with: unique but not fussy and always comfortable. I think that pretty much sums up this store. And since they’ve been at the same location on HWY 100 for 40 years, they obviously have great products and style or they never would have lasted.
If you really wish you had known about this sale in early August, so you had more than 8 days to get your act together to partake, then you need to be on Pembroke’s email list. They do an email blast a couple of times a month letting you know what they have going on. You won’t get overwhelmed, and you’ll see some pretty pictures with each blast – email them at to be added: [email protected]

I just wanted to check and be sure you received your samples. Neither of the two went with draperies, carpet and upholestry. I will continue my search and may be back with you for your help again.
Thanks!
