December overwhelms me with all of the catalogs but January excites me: they are pared down and just the ones I love. I am completely inspired by Williams Sonoma Home, Serena and Lily, and Wisteria. For clothing, my J.Crew, Anthropolgie and Garnet Hill catalogs have me seriously reconsidering my wardrobe. The arrival of these catalogs is a sign, like a robin’s red belly, that Spring is around the corner.
Here are my tear sheets, obsessions and inspirations on the home front:
Wisteria:
We mentioned bleached wood in our post (click here) about Northgate Gallery in Franklin. We saw the trend pop up at Restoration Hardware and here it is again. I love this look.

Riveted door Coffee Table $599 and bleached Linen Chair $799. I never would have done lavender walls in this room, but you know what? It works.

Williams Sonoma Home always provides a luxe but modern look that oozes style. The pages I tore out of my current catalog include:

I love a part of the ws-home website which is separate from their catalog. Get great designer tips from eight designers. Seriously, read through them and it’s a crash course on design. I promise you will be inspired. With names like Carolyne Roehm, Thomas O’Brien and Alexa Hampton, you will not be steered wrong!

Great post! I could not agree with you more about the catalogs in December. Who has the time to look thru the them. I could have saved a tree with the number I sent to the recycle bin. Come January I welcome them. Serena and Lily makes me want to have another baby. WS Home and Wisteria are awesome! I want to redecorate. I get great joy in folding down the page. It makes you feel like you made a purchase. Thanks for another great post….also so excited about consignment sale.
