Woo Cosmetics Adds Le Metier de Beaute’

Continuing down the path yesterday while visiting Bandywood Shopping Center, I decided to stop by Woo Skincare-Cosmetics. For some odd reason, I can not get my lip color right this season.  I find my pencils either way too low and dried out or the color just isn’t right for this summer.  Being of Mediterranean descent, as in Black Irish, my complexion demands a bolder color to provide a little contrast to my skin tone.  The gorgeous pale and sheer tints of this season seem to just get lost.

So, into Woo I went.  One thing I love about small boutiques is they understand customer service.  Your business does matter to them and I think in a meaningful way. Within a matter of minutes, I was seated with Bethany while she applied a variety of lipsticks and glosses.  I chose Bobby Brown’s Metallic Lip Color Ruby #10, lip liner plum #28 and well, why not?…a Giorgio Armani smooth silk eye pencil crayon yeux soyeux #5.  Basically, it is a plum tone.  Grand total $74.29

As I was feeling  totally satisfied about my selections, I noticed quite a buzz at the next counter about the new line LE METIER DE BEAUTE’.  It is sold exclusively at Woo and can be only found in selected Neiman Marcus stores, Bergdorf Goodman and Barneys.  As you can see, the packaging is simple and classic.

Next week Le Metier de Beaute’ will have their Director of Make Up Mikey Castillo and his team of artisans to transform the already beautiful Nashville beauties into even more beautiful beauties.  Is it possible?  If you read the rap on Mikey, probably.  He has worked with celebrities such as Sharon Stone and Mariah Carey and on television shows such as the Oscars, Golden Globes and Oprah.  He is the favorite beauty editor for InStyle and Elle.  In addition, it is rumored that Troy Surratt (another big dog with Le Metier de Beaute’) will be in store with LeAnn Rimes.  All of this is in conjunction with the CMT awards held this Tuesday evening.

Call Woo at 615- 383-2170 and book an appointment to get coiffed by Mikey this Wednesday through Friday.  If you purchase over $175 of product (and that’s easy to do), you will receive a CMT inspired gift bag including exclusive products from Le Metier de Beute’ and a 30% coupon from H.Audrey in the Hill Center.  Not bad for a day’s shopping. Also, I did not know that Woo has a shop in Atlanta in the Peachtree Battle Shopping Center.  It is located three miles from the Lenox Square Mall heading towards downtown Atlanta.
