From the moment I laid eyes on these pictures, I knew I would need to share them on StyleBlueprint. Who can resist a perfectly executed, original, unique, adorable, fabulous baby shower? All I need now is a pregnant friend so I can duplicate this party!

The theme is apparent before entering the house
“One of my favorite things about this shower was the amount of creativity that came from everyone! You would not believe how many things were made by hand, from the gorgeous cake to the Baby Whooo bunting to the most gorgeous little gifts. It was an honor to work with such wonderfully creative people!” – Stephanie Van Hoesen, responsible for the design and decor. (She is an interior designer and owner of Nest Interiors. Much of the decor seen here today can be found at Nest Interiors and Tweed Baby Outfitters.)
A special thanks to Stephanie for providing all the photos and content for today’s StyleBlueprint post. A few photos showed up on her Facebook page and I was instantly emailing her to share! Thanks also to Maggie for allowing us to share your special shower for your beautiful daughter, Viva Blue.

How cute is this prompt for guests to sign in?
Momma to Be: Maggie Britt Leo
Baby: Viva Blue. But at the time, a name had not been chosen. Hence, the Baby Whoo on the bunting (flag banner).
Gender: Girl
Theme: Owls, owls and more Owls! We combined hand-made/hand-crafted items (Baby Whoo bunting, tissue paper poms, felt/ knit owls, etc.) with lots of organic elements (wood stumps, burlap, moss, dried botanicals) and splashes of found vintage items (old books, birdcages, glass bottles).
Colors: Lots of woodland browns & shades of white, with pops of raspberry red, turquoise, leafy green, pale yellow and oranges.

Notice the bench in front of the food table to make room for utensils, without overcrowding.
Host: Karissa Adnevik (best friend of the guest of honor). The shower took place in her home in Franklin, Tennessee.
Baby Whooo Bunting: Elizabeth Hutchinson of Two Green Olive Trees (etsy). Elizabeth co-hosted the shower (she makes the cutest baby clothes!)
Cake: Rachel Norris (amazing cake and floral designer!)

Main Table. The three tiered display was featured on Gwyneth Paltrow's GOOP when designer Annette Joseph choose it for GP's Nashville condo.

Table Signs

Maggie, mom to be, with friends
Flowers: Garden Delights in Franklin
Owl Haystacks: Elizabeth Starpoli of Puffy Muffin (her cakes & other desserts are some of the beautiful works of art)
Food: A delicious assortment of salty & sweet appetizers, catered by friends of the host (Karissa Adnevik)

Owl tag for the drinks
Drinks: Infused Lemon+Lime+Mint Water and Italian Blood Orange Soda with Vodka. We used mason jars for glasses and each were adorned with an owl name tag and a striped paper straw

Napkins, Plates and Straws

The living room with owl painting and festive decor
Large Owl Painting: Leigh Ann Agee, an artist at the Studio of Edgehill Village was so kind to donate her sleepy owl painting for the evening.

Lots of owls

Another picture of the tasty, on-theme, treats

Baby Leo. That's the last name. And, now we know the full name: Viva Blue Leo.

Beautiful flowers were on display throughout the house

Favors
Favors: 5 Different types of Homemade Granola’s + 2 types of roasted nuts (each guest got a little owl favor bag and then they scooped their choice of granola and then could add a touch of cinnamon or sugar to the mix. So cute!).
Thanks Stephanie!

Under normal circumstances, I have no hesitation resisting a baby shower(all that pink or blue cuteness-shutter!) But I would totally have made an exception for this clever owl themed event!
So cute! Leigh Ann Agee painted my daughter’s bedroom before she was born and she is 6 now and it is still the most adorable bedroom we have ever seen…her work is so beautiful!
Thanks Erin! I appreciate your comments on the nursery I painted for you guys! Its so fun to hear that it has lasted and is still being enjoyed 6 years later! : ) Thanks for mentioning it! I want to thank Stephanie from “THE NEST” who designed the shower. She just happened to ask if I had any owl paintings. HA HA I did! : ) It just worked out! So Thanks Stephanie!
