Robin uses repurposed bass and guitar strings to make fun and whimsical jewelry made to last a lifetime. Check out her site at https://nashvilleartisans.com/. Her creations are perfectly priced to make the decision of “should I?” into a simple yes. Both pieces below are just $25.

Ann Marie Hensley Photography Workshops:
One of Nashville’s treasures, Ann Marie Hensley has a huge reputation for capturing the joy of children, family and even country music’s finest. Otis James Neckties:
Buy one for your guy and watch him tenderly pull it out and then rush to the mirror to put on. Something about these ties make guys go nuts and discover that they do enjoy well-made fashion, even if they didn’t know it. Locally made with national attention, these neckties are ones to be loved and worn both for work as well as for casual weekend days. This picture was taken at Imogene+Willie. www.otisjamesnashville.com

Restyled Antique Jewelry
Jackie Hicks loves making jewelry pieces using antique pocket watches, some dating back to 1903. They are priced from $145 – $685. Pricing all depends on the materials used: gold filled, sterling, and vintage pieces (brooches, pins, earrings, pieces of bracelets, mother of pearl buttons, belt buckles, etc). Each one is an unique original. You can see the full collection at Cindi Earl Fine Jewelry on March 8th from 6-8PM. For details: click here.

Funky Old Gringo Boots
The brand Old Gringo has made our heart flutter for several years. Two Old Hippies in the Gulch recently picked up some of their funkiest boots — sure to be a fashion statement no matter the season. When you are ready to throw “safe” out the window and embrace the happiness of fabulous workmanship and making a statement, consider one of these (among others!). twooldhippies.com

Salon Atash
This brow bar does an amazing business polishing people’s eyebrow’s into shape with the ancient art of threading. Threading involves actually taking two pieces of thread and rubbing them together to pull each eyebrow hair. You can have your whole face done for a fabulous exfoliation as well. While there, check out the apparel, jewelry and handbags as there are always fun finds. Two locations: Hillsboro Rd and the 2525 building on West End. Website: www.salonatash.com

Jeremy Barlow’s Book:
Chefs Can Save the World is local chef Jeremy Barlow’s “call to action for everyone who prepares, serves, consumes or simply enjoys food. We all have a responsibility to pay more attention to what we eat, where it comes from, and how it affects the world around us.” – Amazon.
Jeremy is well-known throughout Nashville for his amazing food at Tayst and Sloco, but also for his insistence that the food be locally sourced as he recognizes how this determination can change our communities and health for the better. With half of all food dollars spent eating out, chefs have enormous power in the future of how our food is consumed and prepared.
A great read for professional cooks, non-professional cooks, and everyone who basically EATS — that means all of us.

Cowhide Rug
When StyleBlueprint Louisville wrote an article on cowhide rugs, one StyleBlueprint Nashville girl decided she must have one! After seeing them at Nest Nashville, AshBlue and Imogene+Willie, the look was obviously one to be embraced (as all those places simply ooze style). Liza ended up at Tandy Leather Factory on Nolensville Rd. This place is small but amazing. With one cowhide for her son’s room and one for her living room, she is set. www.tandyleatherfactory.com

OXO Egg Beater
This fun kitchen tool will have you beating eggs and making homemade whipped cream just ’cause. With a house full of kids, this tool will make everyone fight over who gets to to use it and you may just need to buy some chickens to keep up with the eggs that are suddenly being eaten each day. Yes, a whisk works well, but there is something about this beater that just makes the task more fun. www.williams-sonoma.com

Bloody Mary Mix
After learning to create Bacon Infused Vodka (no worries, the process will be on StyleBlueprint soon), the perfect Bloody Mary Mix was needed. Our taste test last year revealed Zing Zang the winner, so we thought we had a champion. Upon ordering some Charleston Bold & Spicy Bloody Mary Mix, we now realize that our taste test was not complete. Voted winner in the FOOD category by Garden & Gun‘s Made in the South Awards, this mix is sure to please. Judge and James Beard Award winner Sean Brock said, “As soon as I tasted the mix, I could taste the hard work that went into it…He nailed it.” charlestonmix.com
