Watch sales for 2011 were the best they had been in TWENTY years. It was not that long ago when the watch was declared “dead.” But, people are realizing that even with clocks on computers, all appliances, bedside tables, iPads, phones and in cars, we really want to know the time with a quick twist of the wrist.

Today, we are looking at watches in five categories: white, two-tone, rose gold, horn and ones just for fun.

A big, chunky white watch is a current trend, just like the 1980′s all over again. This may not be the watch you want to wear next year, but it’s a fun accessory for today.

We are only featuring those under $150, as we know we wouldn’t spend more on a trendy white watch!

I have never witnessed more women talk about a single watch more than Michael Kors’ Rose Gold watch collection from 2011. This trend single-handedly had non-watch wearers suddenly realizing that they really need one, and it must be a Michael Kors.

Not to make this post into a total Michael Kors love fest, but we are talking watches and he does them well at an accessible price. When we saw these horn and tortoise watches, we really did pause and look at each one. They are so pretty. As horn jewelry lovers, we are thrilled with these options.
