Watch sales for 2011 were the best they had been in TWENTY years. It was not that long ago when the watch was declared “dead.” But, people are realizing that even with clocks on computers, all appliances, bedside tables, iPads, phones and in cars, we really want to know the time with a quick twist of the wrist.
Today, we are looking at watches in five categories: white, two-tone, rose gold, horn and ones just for fun.
For any watch featured today, simply click on the photo for more information.
White watches:
A big, chunky white watch is a current trend, just like the 1980′s all over again. This may not be the watch you want to wear next year, but it’s a fun accessory for today.
We are only featuring those under $150, as we know we wouldn’t spend more on a trendy white watch!
Two-tone watches:
Two-tone metal jewelry was HUGE in the late 1960′s and 1970′s. It is back in full swing and is abundantly practical, as well as beautiful. If you are someone who likes all her metals to”match,” then this type of watch will pull together your silver hoops and gold bracelet with ease.

We have no idea how to verify "online pre-owned" deals. But, with this one is at Overstock.com, we trusted it. $2406.37 which is a 20% discount.
Rose gold:
I have never witnessed more women talk about a single watch more than Michael Kors’ Rose Gold watch collection from 2011. This trend single-handedly had non-watch wearers suddenly realizing that they really need one, and it must be a Michael Kors.

There are many more options than the ones we featured here. Just head to the Michael Kors store, or click to see online. Most are $250
Horn and Tortoise:
Not to make this post into a total Michael Kors love fest, but we are talking watches and he does them well at an accessible price. When we saw these horn and tortoise watches, we really did pause and look at each one. They are so pretty. As horn jewelry lovers, we are thrilled with these options.

So, Michael Kors, we have seven writers in five markets. We'd all love to wear one of these... (come on, can't a girl beg?!) $225
Fun watches:
These are made for the woman who changes her watch the way many of us change our earrings…a new one every day of the week.
And, we didn’t even get into sports watches or men’s watches….
Have a great weekend!

So many lovely watches! I’ve always been a fan of two-tone so glad it is back in style. I may have to have that Kate Spade.
I think you should get into the sports watches. Bring ‘em on!
