We love the symphony and hold a special place for music in our hearts and lives, especially here in Music City, USA. And, while photographing parties is not something we are going to start doing with regularity by any means (there are several publications that do that very well in town, #thankyouverymuch), we all felt a little sparkle and fashion with champagne toasts was in store during this holiday madness, especially with a backdrop and beneficiary as wonderful as the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Yes, we’re talking about the Nashville Symphony Ball 2012.
The event, co-chaired by Jana Davis and Lee Ann Ingram, was designed by event planner Elizabeth James with Mark O’Bryan of The Tulip Tree. Laura Turner Hall was transformed into hunting lodge with a Scottish theme. The centerpieces, incorporating in deer antlers, flowers, foliage and candles, atop plaid table cloths, once again showed off the genius of events planned and executed by this fabulous pair.
The beautiful food was the creation of Nashville Symphony Executive Chef Roger Keenan and his staff. The high note of the evening was the intimate concert by Harmony Award recipient Keith Urban. Oh what a night.
Our photographer Bridgett Ezzard captured these beautiful images of the decor, people, food and jewelry. We think the biggest trend of the night was black lace!

As usual you make the rest of us look like we’re standing still – Way to go sista! Beautiful!
Not one photo of Keith Urban? Looks like it was a lovely event but your headline implied an Urban pic!
We wanted to give a hearty congrats to Keith for receiving the Harmony award, and he was a big part of the night. Our words, not our pictures, conveyed that!
