If you need to update your summer sandals, Marti & Liz Shoes in Cool Springs has their shelves crammed full of great summer shoes. They re-stock their shelves on Thursday, so today will prove a great day to shop if you can get there (if you can’t it’s ok as I was there on Wednesday and the shelves were full of great shoes, promise!). You may remember that I wrote about this quirky shoe store last September, (StyleBlueprint/Marti and Liz) about how I scored two pair of Taryn Rose flats this past winter for under $40. Well, as I was walking though Dillards last month, I saw the exact same pair of Taryn Rose shoes for $250…and that was the sale price!
Marti & Liz is a small Southern chain. They stock slightly worn shoes and some brand new ones, most of which are under $30. My understanding is that they buy overstocked shoes, samples from retailers and even shoes that were worn on movie sets as well as the runway. What I know for sure is you can find the following brands at Marni and Liz right now: Kate Spade, Stuart Weitzman, Cole Haan, Coach, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Joan and David and tons of more conventional brands like Nine West, Crocs, Sofft, and Anne Klein.
I spent about 30 minutes in the store and here is what I found:

If you need some great shoes for fall or winter, I found these fabulous shoes, one by Stuart Weitzman and the other by Calvin Klein. Both were under $40.

A wonderful place, I've even been there with clients! They have a fabulous selection for men also.
Unfortunately for me, I need that "W" for wide and shoes worn by models and actresses are likely not going to be wide…interesting how M&L get their inventory though. I've browsed in that store before and had no idea of the back story.
