Friends & Fashion Event
Save your lunch time slot on March 29th for the 20th Annual Friends and Fashion event to benefit Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. This event, called Project FrontRow, is sponsored by the Williamson County chapter of Friends of Children’s Hospital and it is always a fun way to spend a few hours indulging in the girlie side of life, while supporting a great cause.

The fashion show, sponsored by Belk at Cool Springs, will show off Spring’s best styles and fashion trends worn by both professional models – flown in from across the country - as well as former and current patients of Children’s Hospital. There will also be a special “Mother’s Day” award presented to a deserving mother of a local patient. I know who the recipient is and I’ll give you some clues: she’s actually taller than I am, has a smile a mile wide, and looks like a Barbie doll come to life. If you know her, you’ve figured it out. If you don’t, go to this luncheon and be inspired by her story.
I know this goes without saying, but NO, you do not need to live in Williamson County to attend this luncheon. Those Davidson County gals, like me, are equally welcome. What to wear: bright colors and happy prints will rule the crowd at this luncheon. Suits, dresses and nice pants will all be spotted. Be sure to save time to stop by Belk on your way home as I know there will be some must have outfits spotted on the stage!

Jewelry Shows
A now for the jewelry shows, both happening on Bandywood:
When we received an email from Digs Interiors, located at 2225 Bandywood, we just sat there, jaw hanging slack with a big ol’ open mouth, as we gazed at the bracelets pictured for the jewelry event they are hosting this week. We think you will understand when you feast your eyes upon the picture below. The show is March 24-26th from 10-5PM. While you are there you are sure to be courted by the surroundings at Digs which will have you envisioning more stylish rooms in our own home. We love this store and are so glad they are hosting a trunk show for the S. King Collection. Read more about DIGS here.

This is the image that made us swoon. Prices in this collection start at just $55 and stay under $600. These are gorgeous!
One of my favorite jewelry designers is Winifred Grace and she had to postpone her last show due to our bad weather. As a reminder, here is what I wrote before, but I’ve updated the dates to the new show, happening this week at The Perfect Pair, located in the Courtyard at Bandywood:
“Winifred Grace is debuting her new Spring/Summer 2010 line this week from Mar 25th-March27th. I’ve said it before: not only does The Perfect Pair have incredible shoes, but I always find jewelry here that “is me.” We all have that place where we KNOW we’ll find something great. Well, one of the reasons I feel that way about The Perfect Pair is the Winifred Grace collection. Truly, this collection rocks so much more than my words can convey. I may raid the piggy bank after all. My mouth is actually salivating writing this post. How is that possible? This is jewelry, not food….it’s because the line is that good…..”

This line starts at $127 and most things fall under the $300 price point. Almost all earrings are under $200.
